Part Time Positions:

EVENING MANAGER ON DUTY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:​Under the direction of Membership and Healthy Living Director, the Manager on Dutywill be responsible for direct oversight of the Member Services Department in the evening and on some weekends.  This position will focus on all functions related to member services including the sale of new memberships, member billing, front desk operation, and member experience. They will also model the Y values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience

• Strong communication and problem solving skills

• Ability to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit organization

Lifeguard-

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Aquatics Director you are responsible for working directly with children, members, & other adults/youth. You play an integral role in the development of building strong character values in others. The staff at all times is representative of the philosophy, mission and goal of the YMCA and its programs. Staff must strive to work cooperatively with fellow employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the YMCA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 15 1/2 years old
  • Current Lifeguard Certification (YMCA will provide)
  • CPR for Professional Rescuer, AED, and O2 (YMCA will provide)
  • Current Standard First Aid Certification (YMCA will provide)
